Modern Industries is a diversified products and services company engaged in manufacturing, product design and build, thermal processing, and laboratory testing for a world-wide customer base.
With two Heat Treat Locations (Erie & Kersey, PA), Modern is one of the largest commercial heat treat suppliers in the OH-PA-NY area and has provided HT to customers from coast to coast, Canada and Mexico.
We offer a wide range of HT services, including hardening, carbonitriding, carburizing, annealing, normalize with protective atmosphere, nitriding and ferritic nitrocarburizing in addition to induction, vacuum, cryogenics, aluminum processing and tempering (over 30 tempering furnaces).
We provide post heat treat cleaning and can offer machining (pre and post HT) along with lab [metallurgical] testing through our sister divisions.
