Specimens are extracted and prepared for testing and analysis in our in-house machine shop reducing turnaround times and increasing specimen traceability. Specimens are mounted, polished and etched for evaluation by our metallographers, who develop techniques to ensure edge retention and high-quality polished surfaces for mounts containing dissimilar materials.
