The SRZ is a DIN rail mounted high-density modular system with a sample cycle time of 250ms and a 0.2% accuracy. Control method is selectable between position proportional control and cascade control in addition to heat only and heat/cool methods. A quick rise/drop to setpoint gives greater protection from overshoot/undershoot cause by external disturbances.
The system offers True universal input, a loader port with free software, 4 assignable CT inputs, numerous alarms, CT and DIO modules, auto-tuning and start-up tuning, eight memory areas for ramp/soak, peak current limit, output distribution function, feed forward, differential setpoint and an auto temperature rise learning function so all channels reach setpoint at the same time, eliminating partial burns or thermal swelling. A single module provides up to four channels of Heat only or two Heat/cool of which up to 16 modules may be connected. It offers It is connecteable to PCs, touch screen or PLCa and linked to operate as one system. Communications are provided via Modbus RTU. A Com module can connect up to 16 stacks of modules to a host PC giving the use access to as many as 1024 zones of control.
All modules share a common communication bus to the host PC. Modules share a second high speed bus that allows for intercontroller communications. Intercontroller communication is used for grouping features like; run/stop, setpoint change, temperature rise/drop uniformity, auto temperature rise and learning function.
